Aubaine is one of the first breakfast/brunch place I experienced in London
The thing you first notice when entering this outlet of Aubaine is the freshly baked bread and patisseries such as croissant etc
Which is a guarantee that they do some delicious classic breakfast compliments…
Here they serve the typical brunch and breakfast classics such as the full french (use French ingredients rather than one sourced in UK), eggs your way, croques and the eggs benedict etc..
Cronut has flown across the atlantic to be served in London and thanks to Wilkes888 blog, I was able to know that Aubaine does their take on it
Cronut is basically croissant shaped in donut and deep fried..
Its crazy good and indulging! Sweet, buttery and super crispy.. Quite amazing!
If you haven’t have the time to fly to Manhattan to get one, the ones here will do the trick..
So then lets get onto the savoury stuff
I got the usual croque madame (£10) and eggs benedict (£9.75)
The croque madame is rich, creamy and cheesy.. Hits all the notes a for well crafted croque madame that has a nice crunchy crust
The eggs are poached perfectly as you can see it is still runny and the hollandaise has the right balance of acidity cut by the savoury well cured ham and soft crisp brioche.. A great dish…
They also display desserts for you but I was left full so couldn’t try any but sure they look gorgeous!
After a year of eating at Aubaine, I feel every time when I go back is like the first time I have it, food is constant and always delicious… Come try their freshly baked bread, pastries and brunch dishes and you won’t be disappointed
