Albion is like a food heaven. Why? Because at the outlet in Shoreditch, you can dine as well as buy food to take home or just grab something quick to eat.

I arrived rather early so I had to grab some breakfast here.

The menu here is simple. You get the usual Albion Breakfast (english breakfast) or eggs your style or breakfast sandwich with whatever filling you want. While there are also kedgeree, black pudding etc.

Rather I went for a special menu collaboration with nutritionist Chris Sandel. The menu is kind of like a healthy alternative to the typical hot breakfast.

So I got the grilled sweet potato hash with spinach and poached eggs (£9.50)

With fresh orange juice and streaky bacon. This was really amazing. The hash is sweet, fragrant and spicy. The dish has a hint of spices that shines through and elevates the flavours of the hash. Perfect with the eggs. The bacon was however dry and bland.

Putting bacon aside, it was a really really good breakfast dish. Perfect combo in terms of flavours and texture. Healthy and delicious, thats a hard combo to come by!

Price: ££ (£15 plus drinks)
