Machiavelli is located on Long Acre not far from Covent Garden Station… How did I find this place?

Accidentally after watching Warhorse, we needed a post theatre meal and this is a decent italian kitchen and dining room that delivers tasty italian classics…

So here’s what I had..

First the lasagna, they change their lasagna daily and today’s filling is spinach, artichoke and ricotta cheese… Cream and not too thick, tender veg inside and the pasta is cooked aldente… Soft and tender sheets

Second, the gnocchi with sausage ragu and smoked ricotta… Chewy and tender gnocchi, spiced and sweet tomato sauce and soft mild cheese on top.. A delight

The margarita pizza is pleasantly nice…. Fresh tomato sauce not overly sharp, mild creamy mozzarella but the dough I find abit too thick

The tiramisu is really really good… Some places are overly bitter or overly sweet or has too much liquor but the tiramisu has the perfect balance of all the sweet, creamy and wonderful
aroma of the coffee and liqueur…

Machiavelli is a hidden gem in Covent Garden, wonderful food, great service (they serve us food right before they close) and a wonderful atmosphere at very reasonable price is a must stop for a rest after hard shopping in Covent Garden..

Price: £7-£12
