I was unfortunate to check out Street Feast’s Truck Stop event earlier this month.. After hearing all the great things about it, I just have to check out their next event..
Here they are settle at Dalston Yard for the whole of summer on Fridays and Saturdays, bringing the best food truck London has to offer…
With the limited space in my tummy, I went for the Dosa Deli’s dosa and Mei Mei’s Chinese crepe
First up, Dosa Deli’s dosa with coconut, lemongrass, paneer and spicy masala with fresh herbs and veg..
First time I had dosa and I immediately fallen in love, its super soft, crunchy and light batter with fresh and spicy, aromatic and crunchy coconut inside is delicious… The tamarind apple chutney cuts right through, adding sharpness and sweetness needed to bring all the flavours together..
Next Meimei’s chinese crepe, it is very interesting… Soft crepe covered with spring onions and coriander then filled with eggs, duck, crispy wonton sheets, hoisin sauce and spicy sambal… Amazing its delicious… Savoury, sweet and a nice kick and the wonton sheets added a nice texture.. One type of chinese street that you should try
I will definitely check out other vendors next week, but for now I am loving what Street Feast is doing for all the foodies of London! More review on this joint in the future!
Don’f forget to follow @dosadeli to get hold of their Dosa and @mmStreetCart for the delicious chinese crepes on Twitter!
