Comptoir Libanais offer a quick taste of the lebanese cuisine… From hot mezzes such as falafel to the cold ones such as babaganoush or hummus.

Also the classics such as chicken or lamb shwarma.. I always loved their tagines and mezze .. But today the only think came out great was the mezze..

First the lamb kofte tagine, I don’t know if they left the food on the counter too long or not, the food was barely warm… The couscous was light and fluffy but the kofte lack that level of spice and heat like most places..

Out of the things I ordered, the babaganoush is delicious! Creamy, chunky, sweet and smokey flavours with the basil on top is delicious.. Smear it on a warm pita bread is a delight…

Comptoir Libanais here couldn’t handle the white collar lunch rush.. Food was slow and the tagine was nearly cold..

I know they could do better but for today they left me with a bad impression..
