Also seafood is widely abundant but you can grab one place without breaking the bank…
Chocolate is big in Belgium and one place that really is putting it houte couture is Pierre Marcolini in Avenue Sablon… Don’t just get Godiva and Neuhaus.. Go here and you’ll be blown away by the array of chocolate they offer and the patisseries they do

First place I recommend is Restaurant de l’Ogenblik…. A little french brasserie right in the corner of Galarie de la Reine..

One thing I must say their butter and baguette is delicious.. The butter was the star.. It was creamy sweet and buttery with a wonderful sweet aroma

Starter of mozzarella and tomatos was fresh, creamy and the balance of acidity from the tomatoes and vinaigrette lifts up the refreshing feel from the dish

For their suggestion menu of fillet of beef with boudalaise sauce and summer truffles were luxurious… Tender, moist beef with earthly light mushroom sauce with a luscious touch of truffles were a perfect combo…

For dessert you can head to Maison Dandoy.. The famous boulangerie and patisserie of Brussels for some brussels waffles

It may not be as sweet as the liege waffle but the brussels one is super crispy and light not overly sweet that goes well with the warm chocolate sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream

If you bored of all the western cooking, head to Pitta Helas for some döner and chicken schwarma at ridiculous portion for a bargain price.. A mix platter of chicken and lamb for only €10.. Chicken was the bomb.. Moist and juicy, the marinade and herbs really shines and makes it super tasty especially with their chilli mayo and greek yoghurt..

For a fast, quick and delicious seafood fresh from the market, head to Noordzee. You can get calamari, razor clam, white fish and many more cooked simply with wine and herbed olive oil to really let the seafood itself shine.. Find them near St. Catherine..

Brussels is a city that has its own little attractiveness both the food and the people… So if ever to visit this wonderful city, try these and your tummy will be happy..
