Nopi is own by celebrity chef Yotam Ottolenghi… Here the food is inspired by his roots where the main food is inspired by the mediterranean region and the middle east

I first of Yotam Ottolenghi through various food guides and his own tv show on channel 4.. He also owns the more relax, deli style servings at Ottolenghi deli in both Belgravia and Notting Hill

This time I want to experience his all day I would say flagship restaurant.. Today I’m here for breakfast, so then let see how it goes…

To start, we ordered croissant accompany by a knob of butter

The croissant was delicious, crispy on the outside and doughy, buttery and soft on the inside. Delicious…

For the main dishes, we got corn bread with poached eggs and piquillo pepper salsa (£9) and shakshuka (£11)

The shakshuka was amazing.. Perfect dish to kick start your day.. Sweet, a little tang and super fragrant plus the smoked labneh cuts it well and dipping it with the lightly toasted house made sourdough bread is heavenly! A must order this dish… But corn bread however wasn’t right for me.. Maybe I’m not a corn bread expert but the texture was abit crumbly and the components of the dish didn’t harmonise together.. Not so good..

I like Nopi, even thou one of the dish wasn’t to great but the Shakshuka itself would be worth it to just get out of bed and give it a try.. I’ll definitely come back for lunch and let you guys know but for now try this and you’ll love it!

Price:££ (£18 per head for two including soft drinks and coffee)
