Tapa Room Cafe and Wine bar serves laid back breakfast, lunch and dinner
The place is owned by the talented Peter Gordon who has made a success in Kopapa in Seven Dials.. The place is buzzing even early as 9am just the restaurant open, a sure sign that their breakfast is to die for
The breakfast menu was mouth watering. The classics remain but with their own twist but also interesting ones such as chorizo with sweet potatoe and mizo mash or even stuffed banana french toast with bacon
But I instead went for their famous Turkish “Changa” dish.. A bowl on fresh yoghurt topped with clarified chilli butter and two poached eggs (£9.90).. With the choice of wither granery or sourdough bread.. This is amazing and a first for me.. The yoghurt is tangy and light and the chilli butter gives it a wonderful lift and heat that when dipped with the crunchy and nutty toast was just perfect.. Once you start you just can’t stop..
Tapa Room is perfect for breakfast and sure I will return for it again.. You guys should also try!
