Tommi’s Burger is a famous burger joint from Iceland. I once came across them when they were just a pop-up but now they have a permanent residence.

Own by Tomas Tomasson, this is one of the best burgers you can find in London. The menu is simple.

The menu is simple. There’s 4 types of burger to choose: burger (£5.9), cheese burger (£6.5), veggie burger (£5.9) and steak burger (£8.9). At first I couldn’t choose between the steak and the cheese burger but the staff insist first timers to get the regular cheese burger, so I went for it.

The burger follows the typical American style of bun, patty, cheese, fresh lettuce, red onion, tomato, mustard, mayo and ketchup.

The patty is cooked medium but when it comes out its quite medium rare. That aside, the patty is delicious. It still has a coarse texture to it and the flavours is intense not greasy. You can still taste the natural flavours of the meat. The bun is nice and soft that holds everything together well, as you dig into the burger, each element goes together so well. A must try burger joint this one.
